How the rate will be lowered hasn't been finalised. Of the €2 billion, €500 million comes from the Recovery Fund, €500 million from the Hellenic Development Bank and €1 billion from the banks. Reports mention either part of the loan interest-free from the State, as in previous rounds, or tax incentives for banks to offer lower rates. We'll let you know as soon as the joint ministerial decision is published.
